first things second: a mission statement

so i got a little to amped to start this site, and i came out the gate without even mentioning what this is all about. here it goes:

deltaFIRST is about taking the significant steps to change the way you understand yourself and how you fit into society. the vast majority of us have been raised to view the world through consumervision. it's about time we realized our individual potential and stopped defining ourselves with our jobs and our stuff.

deltaFIRST is about thinking before you act. it's about letting your choices speak for you.

deltaFIRST is taking the first step to change.
